AK: What celeb rocks LNA the best?

LNA: Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and Ryan Gosling

AK: How did you get your start in the fashion world?

LNA:We met through a mutual friend and decided to start a t-shirt line made with a thin cotton and looser fit. We started out of Aprils house almost 4 years ago and now work out of a 10,000 sq ft office/warehouse in Los Angeles.

AK: who was the first celeb to wear your clothes?

LNA: Nicole Richie

AK: what Kardashian wears LNA the best?

LNA: We can’t choose one, they all look great in LNA. Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kris, Kendall and Kylie.

AK: how do you cast your models?

LNA: We have worked with the same model for the last 3 years but we just shot a new model for the Spring 2011 look book. We love casting models from Vision LA.

AK: Do you guys have any exciting plans for the new season? Branching out LNA?LNA: For Fall 2010 we introduced leather and for Spring 2011 we reintroduced bright colors, denim twill, double faced jersey, tri blend, fleece and poly rayon.

AK: How do you feel knowing that a lot of celebs love wearing LNA like Megan Fox and Nicole Richie and the Kardashians?

LNA: We love it. It really helps the brand. Fans want to wear what their favorite celebrity is wearing.

AK: what celeb that hasn’t worn LNA would you like to get to wear LNA?

LNA: Rachel Bilson

AK: what stores carry LNA at the moment? Are you planning on expanding?

LNA: We do a lot of online sales such as www.shopbop.com,www.revolveclothing.com, www.singer22.com. Our goal is to open our first LNA store in 2011.

AK: Will LNA be showing at Bryant Park anytime soon?

LNA: No we don’t show at Bryant Park. We show at Milk Studios in NYC during fashion week. We showed last February 2010 and getting ready to show in September.

AK: What are your 5 fave brands? (other than LNA)

LNA: American Apparel because its affordable and paved the way for basic lines, Jeffrey Campbell, Current Elliot, Siwy and Helmut Lang.

AK: what do you think it is about your clothes that attract so much celebs to wear them?

LNA: The fabric, the fit and its comfortable.

AK: Any new projects we can look out from you?

Allison: I do have new projects comming up. I have a new tv show that is in the works right now which I'm very excited about! I will also be a guest judge on "rupauls drag race" ,you know what I say "the bigger the hair ,the closer to god" haha

AK: How would you describe your job?

Allison: I like to call myself a professional party girl.I've been in the club business for over 20 yrs and I love it. I would definitely describe my job as the best job in the world. I turned partying into a career for myself along with getting a tv show out of it in 2003 "The Club" and opening my first club "Apple" in 2008.I'm hoping my next one will open within the next year or so. I love to make people happy and see them have a good time, so if I can give them good music, a great place to dance and hopefully meet the person of their dreams it makes me smile. Oh and did I mention the money ? Haha

AK: Whats your fave club in LA and why?

Allison: I don't have a favorite club in LA wherever I'm promoting at the time would probably be my favorite. I promote 4-5 different clubs/lounges a week so its hard to choose. I definately prefer bars/lounges over clubs.I love all music but a cool bar playing rock and roll ismy fave.I'm actually a Beatles fanatic. My favorite club of all time would be the Limeligt in NYC.I started working there in the early 90's and it was the best experience.I'm a New Yorker and I love a great mix of people and the Limelight had that. There was a mix of black,white,straight,gay u name it and different rooms of dope music for everyone, it was just a different time for clubs back then.I really miss that.

AK: What are your top 5 fashion designers?

Allison: Hmmmm,my favorite designers,well let's start with Gucci which is my favorite,Yves Saint Laurent,Louie Vuitton,Marc Jacobs and Chanel. I also wear a lot of Helmut Lang,Elizabeth and James along w my friends and families lines Petro Zillia Clothing,Noir Jewerly,Lia Sophia Jewerly,Nicky Hilton,Paris Hilton,Report Signature Shoes,Linea Pelle,Alice and Olivia and Patricia Field.Its great to have friends who are designers ill always have something new and fab to wear.

AK: How did you make it on the Hollywood scene?

Allison: I came to Hollywood in May 2002 right after Sept 11th.I was born and raised in New York and it will always be my home but needed to leave after that horific time.I was in the fashion industry and throwing my parties but that was all secondary back then.No one was shopping or clubbing and when I did thow a party I would donate my money from the night to the Red Cross to help others.Most of my friends moved to LA right away but it took me a while I didn't want to leave. I don't like change but knew it was the right thing to do. I was offered clubs in LA and TV gigs while I lived in New York so thankfully everthing was all set when I got here. I already knew or worked with the owners/promoters in New York/Miami etc. I have to say after 8 years of living here I still feel new here but I do love the weather.I'm definately more of a city chick than a beach bunny.

AK: What is a goal that you want to achieve in the future?

Allison: My goal for the future would definately be doing more tv of course, hopefully a book which I started writing yrs ago and in 10 yrs from now to be a restaurateur.

AK: Whats your fave show on TV right now?

Allison: My favorite tv shows are reality tv shows I just love them especially all of "The Real Housewives" ...I also watch a lot of independent films and documentaries.

AK: Who are your fave celebs and why?

Allison: My favorite celebs are my best friends of course Nicky and Paris Hiton. The funniest girls I know. We've been friends for years since I lived in New York.

AK: How do you feel about haters? What would you say to the haters?

Allison: How do I feel about haters..."Hating is the biggest form of flattery " Haha
